244/365 Man at Work

We drove a short way to Barberina Val d’Elsa this morning for a ‘quick’ walk around but were there for well over two hours.
A lovely, quaint little place that was typical of Tuscany, with some narrow streets and alleyways.
However, we couldn’t get a coffee until 11.00 as the place hadn’t woken up properly!
In the church, in a glass case, was the body of an embalmed monk, San Bartolomeo I think. Quite fascinating albeit ghoulish.
