Back blip for yesterday..
These are the 3 young swallows ( & a parent 2nd from the right ), who have now left the nest in the barn & are fully flying.
I watched their hairy first lessons last week, just before I went away ~ today they were sheltering in the barn, as it was raining but they were able to fly & balance beautifully..
There has been no sign of the Martin on her nest, since I got back, so I am suspecting she has no eggs, which is probably a blessing, as it is really too late for her to successfully raise another lot..
The swallows further up the village, who always arrive really early, have already gone.
