A new one …

We bored baby Sophia to sleep .
I don’t get to see these girls often enough . Very emotional meet up , I’d not seen Georgie girl for about 16 years but last year whilst I was at Moor street station to come home I spotted her through the crowds , I shouted to her and to cut to the chase we got really emotional about drifting ( as humans do ) apart , she had split up with Jim’s old friend and moved away . Anyway to cut a long story short we sorted meeting up and asked another friend of ours who had drifted away to join in , that’s Duchess in the middle … so last October Duchess and I popped down to meet up with Georgie and when we saw her she looked all out of sorts and a bit pale so we went and sat in a coffee shop to get her something to drink … it transpired that she had literally just 1/2 before meeting us been told her IVF was successful and she was showing a VERY VERY early positive pregnancy.
We were sworn to secrecy as Georgie is an old mum at 43 and she was warned this may not happen …. I won’t bore you with the rest but as you can see SHE HAS A BABY .
I will tell you though that every month I’d text and say ‘you good ‘ and the pre planned reply would be happy face or sad face … I gave up at 6 months because I just knew it was ok from there . I don’t mean I gave up talking to her ! Ha .
Duchess and I were both pregnant at the same time , me with Lucy and her with Charlotte, our girls go off to university in 2 weeks whilst Georgie ( she’s much much younger than me ) is just starting her mothering !! Georgie was one of the first people to visit me in hospital when I had Eve and then Lucy , I was gutted when her and A split up , he was a right asshole though and she was to good for him really , I just missed her .
