HELLO SEPTEMBER!

August flew by in a flash; & now we are celebrating Labor Day weekend, which is the last hurrah of the Summer, here in the US..
 Cooler weather ahead, I hope.

I took this CACTUS FLOWER photo yesterday because It only lasts one day.
It is already wilted & spent, but it was wonderful while it bloomed..
My son gave me this small grouping of plants, because he is a huge collector & hopes I will join him.  

Thank you for your concern about my hand debacle.  I have been on the medicine for almost 48 hours, & there is huge improvement.   The swelling & redness have diminished, plus I can make a fist.  I still don't know what bit me, but seeing a Dr. was the right call.  Cellulitis is no joke & can be serious.

My weekend is looking up!
