Rushing around in the rain!

I barely feel like I have stopped today but not actually done that much!

Firstly I got woken up by my work asking if there was any chance I could come in this afternoon, ummmm no thanks. Sorry boss!

I then did a bit of housework while my husband did a bit more calling around regarding our leak from yesterday. Thankfully it seems to be holding but unfortunately we can't turn the water off as it is a mains one coming in from the street and nobody can seem to help us in the meantime.

We then nipped down to get some messages and arrived home just as the heavens opened so got soaked just getting in the front door!

We then went over to visit my husbands mum who has been in hospital all week and this it the first chance we have had to get over due to our shifts and visiting hours.
Popped by my sisters house after as she stays close to the hospital and so we could kill a few hours until visiting hours this evening. She wasn't in but luckily I have a set of her keys so have made myself at home. Spotted a blip in her garden and figured it was best to upload it now while I have the chance.

Phew, better go and get something to eat now and get back to the hospital.
