Unscheduled blip meet!

Van packed, Minnie's needs catered, 2 coffees down, a little vehicle shuffling then quick chat to cat-minders J & H who chanced to pass as the shuffling was happening then it was off. Felt a little odd to be heading away again after so long waiting for the word on the van fix but it didn't take too long for me to relax into the trip and to simply enjoy being in the road again.

Headed over the hills (haha! Almost every direction involves going 'over hills' to leave Nelson. The only direction where there are no hills to go over is north...... that trip involves swimming instead) - a slow, leisurely drive over to Blenheim where the local camera club are hosting the Seddon Shield event. A great opportunity to share some time with other local photographers, view images and go on field trips. I was very pleasantly surprised to meet lizimagiz there...... she shared a few funny memories from past events and really created a wonderfully warm atmosphere to kick the weekend off with. She, of course, had to be my blip today!
