Why do birds...?

Today I noticed at least 3 different pairings of birds - it must be that time of year. Colourful blokebirds chasing around their dowdy brown missusbirds.
This particular pairing were so confident that they just stood in the path until I got right up to them.

Dinner with Sam's family tonight to bid a farewell to his wee sister who's off to Peru on a trip to build stuff with her school. I'm really rather excited for her.

It's been a long hard week at work and I'm glad it's done.

Feel I haven't had the energy or time to blip so have backblipped twice this morning. Sorry for not keeping on top of journals, blipdays and the like.
