Bears - again!

The same bears, in fact (as far as we could tell). We were making a long passage south after leaving Ny-Ålesund, so we made sure to go by Brucebukta again, thinking the bears would probably hang around there until they'd finished with the walrus. It was a little disturbing how hard they were to see from the sea, until they decided to get up and show themselves. We were a lot more cautious in our expeditions ashore after this experience. The deceased walrus was underwater - the bears were obviously unable to move it out of reach of the tides. They were both still there, and the group of 20 walruses had shrunk, there were only 4 lying on the beach.
