Self-portrait as the Afronaut

Went to see Deutsche Prize 2013 exhibition in Photographers Gallery. I saw Chris Killip and Mishka Henner earlier so today I looked at two remaining contestants Christina de Middel with The Afronauts and Broomberg & Chanarin with War Primer II. Although de Middel is almost surely the winner ( her book won most of the plaudits for best book of 2012, but for me B&C are most pleasant surprise. They made a book ( War Primer 2) where they have put post 9/11 ( covering subsequent wars and major disasters ) found photographs ( mostly from newspapers ) over original Bertold Brecht book ( War Primer) but kept BB' s epigram. Their book is available for download via mappeditions
PS. I have played last game in current squash league and lost against MP. This time my score is 0 (wins) 4 (losses). Shameful. An I trained with Sparky just half hour before and played well. What is in me to lose competitive matches, I don't know.
Dinner with S & Z in 34 food not thatgood but evening was very nice. Talked politics, religion, gossip, great time.
