Herbaceous border

A busy day  - standard Thursday!
I left home a bit earlier than usual but still didn't get the shopping etc done in time to get to the Health Walk early, too much traffic, not enough checkout operators.
At least it was a lovely day for the walk and we had a good turnout so that was a welcome interlude. The flowers are in a border in the community garden.
Cafe was busy again, lots of bacon and egg rolls which slows things down (and a couple of customers weren't happy at that) as I can only cook 2 eggs at once. (3 is just possible depending on cooker space which wasn't there today). They probably wouldn't be happy if it wasn't freshly cooked, either!
But we got there in the end and most folks enjoyed their lunch and the staff had time for a few minutes to eat before clearing up. It was after 3pm by the time I was in and did a couple of small jobs but then I took an hour out to relax in the hammock - until it clouded over.
This evening I've been tackling the admin again, at least the list of tasks is getting shorter.
