Pretty as a picture?

The River Kent as it runs past Levens Hall, looking lovely in the morning sunshine - except for those of us whose eyes are drawn to that particular pink of the Himalayan Balsam flowers and those who can imagine the popping noises as the fruits pop and explode seeds all over the river bank.  Six of us working for a couple of hours cleared a decent stretch, but there will be many left for another year.
