A Snapshot......!!!

Of our long and busy day....I found the ‘perfect’ cottage....although hubby wouldn’t be at all keen..!!
If you had asked me to describe what I would like to live in the country ..then this is it..! And although it wasn’t very far from Sligo town ...it was unfortunately isolated..but in a lovely spot.
Shame..it’s several times been a case of the “right house in the wrong place” or the “wrong house in the right place”..
The extra is a picture of a photo (I forgot to take one)...! of the house in Sligo town (we’ve put another bid on it...not particularly hopeful though..
The collage is of the cottage and the remains of the old homestead on the site...the guy who owns it...(a total character)!, took down some of the old stone and reconfigured it into the cottage when he built it...really amazing..!
The other is of a rainbow tonight on the way home (we were very lucky with the weather)...and a view of the mist over Lough Owel on the way down this morning..
The 2nd extra is the ‘front door bell’...that really was fun...!!
