Monbretia

I found it very difficult to sleep last night, despite being very tired, so I've had another quiet day at home today. It has been hard to find a comfortable position because of the pain in my hip, so I've not been a happy bunny!

This afternoon, Dick came to cut the grass. I ventured into the garden to see what is flowering. To my surprise, the cyclamen in the little rockery are back in flower. 

The croscosmia (monbretia) is looking happy. I had no idea that it is illegal to plant this in the wild (not that I was planning to). It is regarded as a non-native invasive species. It is legal to have it in your garden.
