Las Chicas

After Dany taught a class he took the kids off swimming and I had the morning to get through tasks. One included working out a way to get a huge canvas to the UK for friends there - the local art shop on our road has come up with a good way.
Asha and I listened the the podcast that the community were discussing tonight - a really good talk from KXC church in London. Nate and I played games in amongst making food for the team tonight and getting the flat ready. 
Asha and Charlie met up to go spend their money in the stationary shop. They've had an idea to write a daily journal for each other and swap it at the end of the year. They came back here and decorated the fronts and wrote day 1 for each other. Charlie stayed for tea and the evening, the blip is an EB taken as we walked her back.
Discussion with the 24-7 guys was great, as per usual. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Asha and Charlie's friendship. They were pleased to hear that sometimes friends grow even closer when they're apart. She leaves for the UK next week. 
2) Getting several varied tasks done this morning.
3) Nate's delight at Alice being back and being over for dinner and discussion tonight.
