Thursday: Calendula, Persicaria …

… and my favourite blue Chicory flower, photographed in the rain at 5pm whilst our dinner was cooking :-)

I’d collected some windfall Bramley apples and a handful of damsons earlier to make compote, added some shop bought frozen berries too and a small amount of sugar.

Gardening jobs: collected more prunings of the passion flower from the greenhouse to put in the green bin. Added a good bucketful of fresh compost to the Gardeners Delight tomatoes growing outside, rain watered it all in :-))

Very tired tonight …
