The safe and non-destructive construction of the very tall wardrobes was, in the end, relatively simple. I was especially careful not to rotate them about their y-axes, as I once did with the set we put in the flat and which had to be subsequently strengthened with angle brackets. The fitting of the various drawer runners and shelves took about the same time as the frames, with the tethering about half as much again. For an unknown reason the VIKEDAL hinges are no longer easily-unclipped, so the doors were the very last thing fitted.
