Welcome home!

This says it all really!  Ivy was really thrilled to see us last night, whimpering and leaping up at us over and over again!  And today she has enjoyed some cuddles, as you can see!

We dropped our house sitters off in Oxford this morning for a couple of days' sightseeing before they head up to London for the weekend and then catch the Queen Mary 2 back to the States on Monday. They looked after Ivy wonderfully and the house too and they have become good friends. 

We are both quite tired now as I think is obvious from Mr Sk's expression!  It's lovely to be home again, sorting stuff out, but the drizzle today is somewhat depressing after such a long time enjoying bright sunny weather!  Let's hope September brings us some gentle, autumn sunshine.
