Leaving and arriving

Thursday 
Up at 03.30 am (I barely slept anyway) for a 6am flight to Malaga. Luckily we only had to stroll across the road from the hotel to the airport. The flight was on time and we left as the sun was rising over Glasgow.  I had the window seat for a change and enjoyed seeing the west coast of Scotland, Bute, Arran and then Ireland far below. 
Arrived on time. Caught a train to Benalmadena, then a taxi to the hotel.
Went down to relax by the pool and discovered two of the couples we were planning to meet up with this week were also there. Dennis has organised a reunion with ex work colleagues from our time in the UAE in the 80s and we're meeting up with around 12 couples this week.
