Cafe society Winchester -style

This morning I persuaded  Martin to come into Winchester with me  on a mega shopping expedition to buy walking shoes, clothes and other items in readiness for our imminent trip to Italy, as well as to carry out other tasks in preparation for my sister's visit next weekend.I treated Martin to coffee, and later lunch,to keep up spirits and, amazingly, we achieved everything on my extensive list. Winchester is now a really thriving city full of independent shops and eateries, some of which we visited to day. My blip is of the Square,  near the cathedral.     

Later, I heard my Aunt  had had a home visit from her dentist, which was a great relief to us all.
