VOLUNTEERING AWARDS

Today was the day when volunteering among Societies in DIT came under the spotlight.
College President, Professor Brian Norton presented awards to a diverse range of societies within the various colleges which are collectively called DIT, Dublin Institute of Technology, the largest third level college in Ireland.
There was a wide range of fundraising activities undertaken and the cheques for the money collected were given out to the various causes, including Wells for Zoe of course.
The pic shows Sinead and Alison getting some of their many awards. If fact I think there was some Wells for Zoe recipient for each category honoured.
Cassie Delaney who is Chair of the societies appears to have been out of the limelight all day, but has contributed enormously to the success of the Wells for Zoe Society.
