On Reading and Other Passions

I've always loved reading, right from childhood and I love to see book recommendations. I recently saw Mary, from MaryElizaR talking about a book that I downloaded onto my Kindle. I've just finished it. The title is 'The Echo of Old Books' by Barbara Davis. I can thoroughly recommend it!  I've just downloaded another book by the same author!

The other part of my photo is of a new crochet project which I have started with the beautiful yarn that was recently gifted to me.  The colour combinations within the same skein/ball are beautiful and very uplifting. I shall make these circles into squares using a neutral colour.

Besides my love of reading and my passions for crochet and photography, my new kitty companion is yet another passion! As I look at the photos here on Blipfoto, she is curled up on my lap purring away. I love it!

The first extra shows Honey delving into my yarn bag to take out the twisted yarn toy that was made for her! She looks very pleased with herself!   I close all my crochet projects up each evening and protect them into this drawstring bag!

The second extra is the heart-shaped purse/pouch that I sent to the kind crochet girl who sent me the lovely gifts!
