Roofing day 2

Second day.

When they arrived little after 7 they started to lay the horizontal supports (so that there's space for the air to travel under the roof).

When they finished that they went for lunch. The sales person (founder) drove here at that time. Don't know anything else. Perhaps he brought something or just wanted to check the situation. Guys came back from lunch and stayed in the car for 40 minutes as it was raining. Then they drove off and came back 20 minutes later as the rain stopped.

They installed the new roof and the "pipes" that drive the water to wanted places on the ground. But just on the edges of the roof, not leading to the ground yet. (Please someone tell me the correct English words for these.)

They worked 2 hours in the rain this afternoon. They were soaked. They put the solar panels in their places and hooked them on. Wow!

There's still the rest of the "water drivers" missing and also the snow stops. But still I think it's been a good 2 days. There's still the north side of the house. That roof is trickier as there is some service hatches and the chimney. So it will require more details. Also the little lower roof on the west side of the house is also in it's original state.

Lots of rain in the forecast this week still, so we'll see how this will advance. But so far I'm happy with the results with the weather we are having.
