Whitby

Promised the children a beach day and failed to deliver! Long drive to Whitby from our holiday accommodation and tide was high allowing only a brief paddle. Probably not the best choice for beach, but we enjoyed it anyway. Scared myself walking along the pier and blip is of the east pier beacon. 10 minutes before this we had been seeking refuge from torrential rain. A typical British summer’s day in other words!
