Junk

This is a Junkyard Store in our neighbourhood. I’ve never stopped in but often drive by it as it’s on the main road into Castle Hayne.

We are in the forecast path of Idalia and so today was preparation day for me. First thing I was out in the yard taking care of the few things that needed to be taken care of there.

Then I drove into Castle Hayne and topped up my car fuel tank. It only took 3 gallons but with all the forecast rain, mains flooding which in turn means a good chance of contaminated fuel at the local gas stations. :-(

Our 72hr kit has already been updated and generator tested and fuel tanks & containers filled. Now we wait.
