Sunny walk

This morning we went to Castleward - such a lovely sunny morning! This is the view across Strangford Lough from the path around the shore.
If you watched Game of Thrones Castleward would be very familiar, it was Winterfell. We watched Dungeons and Dragons recently - there was Castleward again! It's a National Trust property, and quite unique. When it was built the man and his wife who were planning it couldn't agree on a style. He wanted a Paladian style, she wanted Gothic, the solution was to have half the house in the Paladian style and the other in Gothic. Everything at one side, from the centre walls to the outside is in his preferred style, and the other in her style. It apparently wasn't a very happy marriage!
