Early Evening

Thank you for the response to yesterday’s blip. A quieter day today as the exertions of yesterday caught up with me. Managed to get the new curtains up and finish the ironing.

Son Stephen was returning home from a wedding in Geneva. He was rather pleased that he was travelling by train given the problems with air traffic control. Although it was not without incident. A man tried to attack an Asian family on the train and caused an unexpected stop at Dijon. Fortunately he made the connections to the Eurostar and is now home.

Popped out this evening to enjoy the late light. Rather liked the church tower and the light on the tomb too.
