Sports day... part 1

Due to the tropical rainstorm outside school sports were driven inside.

The first part is always a series of team relays. Lots of running, hopping, rolling, balancing, throwing, curling (an indoor version of this) and mad dressing up games. It was squashed into the hall and various other corners of the school but it made for a great atmosphere.

After the relays we ventured out into a dripping playground and attempted to hold the individual races.

First race - dry but chilly

Second race - chilly, dark looming clouds racing towards us.

Third race - downpour!!!!!


Rain stopped play.
