Local Scam

We got an email from the agent warning us of a scam. Apparently, two men have been claiming to be conducting tests on fire alarms and would always find a fault and charge £50 on the spot.

Fortunately we haven't encountered them, but the agent said they'd almost always notify us of any checks. Well, we've had unexpected work carried in our flat before so now we won't know when we're getting scammed or if the agent forgot to tell us we'll have a visitor!
