Good to see sunshine

Although it almost caught John out this morning. He is down to five and half more days of Antibiotics, not thinking he was on the roof (bungalow) about 9.00 this morning clearing moss off the slates and decided to come in for a coffee. He face was very red, we assume a reaction to the AB’s, apparently direct sunshine causes blisters. Belatedly he calmed it down with suncream although didn’t feel well for an hour or so although no blisters. He didn’t think when the sun appeared.

A good day in the kitchen, baking for various reasons and preparing an Indian meal for a friend visiting this evening. Most enjoyable although I missed out on the sunny garden today.

I have had a fancy to take a picture of this red berried Rowan for some time. Some trees have lost most of their fruit this one is flourishing, presumably the birds deem it not ready yet.
