A brave effort.....

Today was the grudge match that Nelson College had been looking forward to since their historical loss to Waimea last year. I missed last year's game but the result has grown into a bit of local folk-lore.......the first and only time the Waimea minnows have beaten the might of Nelson College who, quite rightfully, have a place in New Zealand rugby history.

History was not to repeat today though, and the brave Waimea boys went home with their tails firmly between their legs :(
