Rock-O-Plane

Backblip 1/3

We drove a little over five hours to Sylvan Beach, a small amusement park in a remote area of upstate New York. It's home to one roller coaster and some older rides, such as the Rock-O-Plane. There's also a Tip Top (aka Bubble Bounce), which was the second we'd ridden since Stricker's Grove.

It also had a classic dark ride from 1954 called Laffland. The roller coaster, Galaxi, was my 396th coaster. It wasn't anything special, though it was fun.

After visiting the park, we ate dinner at a nearby restaurant on the beach by the lake. Then we drove to Lake George to our lodging, which was a motel in cabin-style rooms. It was pretty cool. Tomorrow, we're visiting Six Flags Great Escape, where I plan to ride my 400th coaster.
