Turtle Time

We stayed local today after our travels over the last two days. We spent some time in our lovely pool, which we seem to have all to ourselves and swam at our two local beaches, one before lunch and one after lunch.

In the evening we had a fantastic last dinner out in our local taverna. It really is the best we’ve been to here and it’s right across the road from where we’re staying.

But the best bit of the day was an awesome experience we had being in the sea with a huge turtle! All three of us were in the sea together with masks/goggles, which was quite rare for us, when Mr M spotted a turtle on the sea bed. We swam along behind it and then watched it rise to the surface where it popped it head out close to where we were!
Such an amazing experience and so wonderful that we were all able to enjoy it together.
