Cyclops Does Dallas

After posting my celebration blip last night, my flight was delayed then eventually cancelled. I had to queue for nearly 5 hours to get replacement flights arranged and get bussed to a hotel, where I arrived at 3am.

Hopefully I am flying home tonight, but this afternoon I popped into downtown Dallas with a fellow delayed traveller to see the museum at the Texas School Book Depository - the building from which JFK was shot. It was really interesting, but I find it vaguely obscene to examine the death of a human being in such minute detail in public.

This wierd futuristic oasis is visible from the Grassy Knoll, and I couldn't resist blipping it!

Now I'm off to the airport, more in the spirit of hope than optimism...
