Dying Fir

We are afraid this fir tree, in front of our house, is dying from heat stress and drought. We just noticed its needles are brown and orange, not a good sign. Last year when we lost a couple, they turned from green to orange in a day or two. We hope we are wrong, but it doesn’t look good. The tree is probably 40 feet tall, and maybe 50 or more years old.
