Foraging for food

The Mono Monday theme is timeless. Foraging for food is something that has been done forever by many species. Today I went foraging for blackberries. I thought I might have missed a chance to collect some to freeze, but there were still plenty to pick. Did I sample some as I was picking?  Three guesses, and the first two don't count. Plenty of scratches and snags in my clothes.  :-)

We had thunder and some rain this afternoon. What a relief! Might get some more this week.
