Planning for the Next Trip

Didn't take the camera on this morning's walk as the walk itself was just from the house, mainly for the benefit of our springer, so my Blip is yet another quick phone shot, this time of the swallows beginning to congregate on the power lines where the footpath crosses a local farmyard. The photo was taken virtually blind, as with my lenses darkened in the sun the phone screen was very difficult to see - just had to aim, hope, & choose the best & crop later!

The title/theme is actually appropriate, as in spare moments I've been putting together ideas for our next trip in a few weeks' time. Hopefully we'll be heading to eastern France this time, mainly to the Jura, but matching potential walks to overnight stopovers is less easy than in coastal areas at this time of year! We don't plan a definite route, just like to have some options prepared which we can take depending on the weather, etc.
