Had a lovely day off today, to meet up with Gerge and Amy at the zoo.

The bus takes so long to get all the way up there that I had to leave the same time as they did (coming all the way from Bracknell). We did a lap of most of the animals before lunch, then did the Bear Wood afterwards (really cool around a raised walkway) before having ice cream. Such a lovely day, and we had surprisingly good weather!

I’d read most of my book on the bus there, so I walked to Cribbs afterwards to buy a new one for the bus home. Got a bit excited and bought new bedding from John Lewis too, and some food from M&S.
