Prickly

Another cool, refreshing morning.

Headed to the market after breakfast. Bread stall was selling and I needed a loaf also treated us to pastel de natas which are delicious.

Went to Waterstone's to hunt out a book for Anna's approaching birthday.  Couldn't find the one I wanted and there wasn't anyone to ask. Will attempt again this week.

Made a vegetable eggah - pastryless middle Eastern quiche after lunch.

Sat in the garden reading for a while with the hound and his bone.  Enjoying Kate Atkinson's Shrines of Gaiety which OH couldn't get on with. 

Spotted this bramble shoot backlit by the sun.

I'm constantly trimming the shoots as they are either at human or hound eye level.  They grow back too quickly.

Need to hunt for a durable large dog bed.  Kyro  has continued to scrabble one of his beds.  My previous greyhound, Murray started that and Kyro is killing it off completely.
