Sleepy Girl

D and I had a rare and lovely day on our own. Poppy and Johnnie have gone to Brighton for a few days and Alfie and Liv left early for a day at The British Motor museum near Warwick. We spent a lot of time in the garden, D cut the grass, I deadheaded the buddleia. D did lots of other outdoor jobs while I read. I also did some schoolwork as I’m aware that I’m straight back to work the day after we get back from Italy.
D fixed the windows in the summerhouse and Dotty joined him before settling down for a nap amongst all the junk which has been dumped there since Hendstock.
