Smells as good as it looks!

The view of the Wolf’s castle as I left to walk upstream on the Findhorn. Found Harmandiola tremulae here on the Aspens, little recorded in Scotland. It’s a brilliant scarlet gall on a bright green leaf, so unmistakable! Fewer and fewer migrants around, just the odd Swallow and small groups of Martins. Occasionally, a Curlew is heard.
