Book Club

The book we were covering this past period was HhHH - really hard read as it was about the assassination of Heydrich Reinhardt - the architect of the Nazi Final Solution.  It was written in a really interesting way - the author wrote the story while also talking and writing about writing the story - hard to describe.  It was my holiday read - not a good holiday read - as I said, hard going.
The dinner with the book club girl was nice though  - fun to catch up with them although the service in the Granary Brasserie was a bit crap.  Slow and just completely disinterested.

Food was ok - this is my dessert - looks LOVELY but have to say it was tasteless - fashion over function.
