We had an amazing day starting very early and doing a "before opening" tour of Doge's palace and the Basilica in St Marks square.  Our tour guide was hilarious and it was a brilliant tour.  In the evening we then did a Venetian street food tour which, of course, ended with gelato but oh I struggled as by this point I was so saturated with food that the tour was so painful lol

I am not 100% sure what this food is called nor can I recall everything else we ate (the consequences of a massive backblip haul) but it was all good and it was a lovely way to spend the day.
