Rainforest Abertawe

Summer holiday 2023 day 3

A bit of a wet morning day and all of us definitely being in holiday mode meant a change to the original plan of a day at the beach. Instead we took a drive over to Swansea and a visit to Plantasia.

It didn't take very long to get round the whole rainforest, especially at Owen pace, but it was definitely enjoyable as we looked for meerkat's food and everyone compared their grip to a crocodile's bite*. The boys were being grumpy towards the end though and didn't want to pose for a free picture*, at least me and Louisa know how to have fun! 

With a bit of spare time we thought we'd try the National Waterfront Museum. It turned out to be a bit of a jumble of exhibits not very well themed and the most exciting bit was when the place was evacuated half an hour before closing.

Home for a family meal, then Louisa and me got to go down to St Clears and the Corvus Inn for a couple of drinks in a real life pub, just the two of us.
