Recovery mode

Yesterday afternoon's excess of grueling housework - cleaning, scrubbing,  the large and partially enclosed back balcony in approx 40ºC - after walking round the market in the morning obviously left me very dehydrated so that of course the evening drinks at our large group celebration exacerbated my condition, resulting in feeling very below par today. A day at home with the AC on full however had me sufficiently recovered to join Claire and Vaughan at Janice and John's place this evening for the hair of the dog, once I'd taken him out for an early evening stroll.

Moral of the tale, don't do housework when it's hot.
