Picturesque Pylon

For some reason I woke up really early this morning and was awake enough to realise that the sun was coming up and there might be something worth looking at. I'm not so sure that the sun rising behind a pylon is the best of subjects and the shot doesn't do the layers of colours justice but I think it is an indication of the hold that this blipping has over me. My reaction to being awake at the same time as the sun was to go and get my camera, rather than going back to sleep for another hour.

I did get some more sleep too and it has been a beautiful day - bright blue sky and sunshine. And Friday too!
