On and on...

Yet another scorcher today which has inevitably lead to complaints that it's too hot, especially from my daughter. On the way home her chat was as follows:

"Ihopeitrainssoonbecauseit'ssohotandIdon'tlikeitbeingsosunnyallthetimeithasn'traineda

I swear she didn't come up for breath or pause for me to answer any of her questions. However when we got home she lost herself in her creative mode and went outside to produce these wonderful chalk drawings (she got a chalk stencil kit from her friend a couple of days ago). I find it amazing and quite sad that she doesn't need my help at all to do a lot of her creative activities now. She can do Hama beads on her own making up her own designs and patterns, she made some lovely bracelets the other evening without my help and she can create these fab pictures entirely on her own. However she still loves it when I sit with her and ask if I can have a go.
I love it too.
