Today's offering!

I'm always surprised that the image here of a painting isn't as vibrant as it is up close and personal.....there is so much depth and texture in this piece - also doesn't feel as rich as it is in person.  It's still not done.   I will continue tomorrow, even altho i was supposed to be putting on my potter's apron....ah well, one day won't be a problem :)

this piece is 16" x 16".  cold wax and oil on board.

Lots of rain today.....but i was very content painting away in my studio :)
