Frame

A wander in the woods followed by a drink. A burned out phone box library surrounded by a group of people caught our attention. An act of antisemitic terrorism, it felt surprising to find it in this genteel part of the city. The library had previously been filled with Hebrew books. The location was close to the platform where people were deported to various concentration camps. There was an eerie silence about the memorial site located along platform 17. Dates, numbers and places lined both sides. 

We bussed home for coffee and cake.
