Up and out to take Teagan to Drusilla’s. She has an annual pass which allows an adult to go in with her for free. And we got to go in the short queue, all marvellous. We had a quick march round the animals, then for a good hour on her favourite- the blow up bouncy slide. She was ever so happy, putting herself in charging of helping nervous children. I’ll take my book next time. Nice to see the flamingos and penguins and T is a great conversationalist, we covered a broad range of subjects including gossip about lots of people she knows (always starting with - do you know this person??) dogs, cars, how much we like each other.

I dragged her away, dropped her home and got in the house 2 mins before the Grand Prix started. Watched that, cooked up a pile of food, ate dinner, watched telly. Felt weary to the point of being delighted it is a bank holiday tomorrow.
