Time for Tea

We took the tour bus today to show Gran and Papa the sights of London. There was a bit of a rammy at the bus stop at Tower as the reps of various bus companies argued over our custom. We got off at Buckingham Palace, but the Changing of the Guard was still going on and the place was mobbed. So we headed into St James' park and had our picnic. Then we walked to Westminster Cathedral as Mum and Dad wanted to have a look inside. We caught the bus again outside Victoria and got off at Piccadilly. Having had the ice cream parlour in Fortnum & Mason recommended to me, we headed there. Orla had an amazing ice cream sundae and we all had lovely pots of tea. We got back on the bus originally intending to get off at Westminster Pier and take the boat back to Tower, but the guide on the bus was excellent so we just stayed on. He was full of facts and very entertaining. Conor snoozed in his wrap pretty much all day and Orla fell asleep on the bus. Not sure what effect that's going to have at bedtime!
